Ag Sparkling is a dry, crisp, sparkling white wine with a light straw appearance, made from hand-
harvested Madeleine Angevine grapes from Tamar Valley Vineyard. The wine has small, robust
bubbles with hints of green apple and a bready finish. The wine is made in the ‘méthode
traditionelle’. ‘Ag’ is the chemical symbol for silver. During the nineteenth century the mine at South Hooe was one
of the most successful silver mines in the UK. The chimney for the engine house once stood close to the site of the modern winery.
Dry / crisp / mineral
Great with: Seafood, chicken dishes or simply as an apéritif.
